Gwendolyn Dwyer
Coach — Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Gwen Dwyer coached our 2009 San Diego/Vancouver Team after being a member of the 2002 TENNIS: EUROPE National 1 Team. Currently Gwen is the Assistant Tennis Coach at Bryn Mawr College. She also is attending Thomas Jefferson University to earn her M.S. in Occupational Therapy.
Gwen attended Lehigh University where she received high honors majoring in English and minoring in Psychology, Religion Studies, and Writing. At Lehigh she was a two-time team captain and MVP and played first singles and first doubles. She was First Team All Patriot League for three years and was the 2007 Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year. Gwen worked as a coach at the Attack Tennis Camp in Feasterville, Pennsylvania for five summers. In 2008 she served as a Jesuit Volunteer at a school in Harlem, where she was an Assistant Teacher and Track Coach.
